Functional User Equivalent (FUE) is important for two (2) key reasons:

  • FUE is thing single largest pricing lever in a RISE deal. 
  • FUE drives entitlements to the size of the systems.  As the number of FUE’s increase the size of entitlements increases.

What is less well understood is that FUE pricings is NOT linear.  As we hit the entitlement breakpoints, the cost per FUE declines.
